As companies grow and numbers of people increase, we
all know communication becomes a greater challenge.
Comfort and relative inertia can set in. Even where
this doesn't happen, the overall sense of urgency may
be lost in new perceptions of "safety in size".
Processes can become bureaucratic - and control can
overcome or overwhelm creativity. Focus often moves
away from product innovation to process innovation.
At the same time, executive effectiveness and effective
process development are essential to "get things
done". Strategy development is also important -
and "re-invention" of Mission and Purpose
must be ongoing in the successful corporation.
The dynamic tension created by the conflicting needs
and desires of different personalities within this cauldron
of challenge and change need not be seen as a negative
- indeed a balance of management education and development
and stimulus of encouragement of creativity and innovation,
has been shown to produce outstanding results in business
performance and ongoing re-invention.
For the larger company, Transitions, drawing on the
experience of Directors who have grown companies from
small to medium to large - and embrace experience in
very large, global corporations, offers experience based,
customised education, coaching and mentoring, embedded
in original yet proven methods.
